The Siemens 6AG2124-0GC13-1AX0 is a highly specialized, heavy-duty 7-inch widescreen HMI panel precision-engineered for railway applications and extreme outdoor environments. Part of the SIPLUS HMI Comfort Panels Outdoor RAIL line, this 1.908 Kg device is fully compliant with strict railway standards including EN 50155, EN 45545, and EN 50121. It incorporates a premium conformal coating on internal circuits to resist humidity, severe condensation, and corrosive gases.

The daylight-readable bonded TFT display outputs an 800 x 480 pixel resolution across 16 million colors, featuring a 100% UV-protected front face and an integrated sensor for automatic backlight dimming. Built to endure extreme climates, it operates flawlessly across an extended temperature range from -30 C to +60 C (with resilience up to +70 C for 10 minutes). Its front housing holds a rugged IP66 rating that is highly resistant to salt mist, eliminating the need for extra outdoor enclosures.

Operators navigate complex graphics via a responsive, analog-resistive touchscreen interface. For multi-network industrial communication, the device integrates a high-speed PROFINET interface alongside a legacy MPI/PROFIBUS DP port. Running on Windows CE 6.0 with 12 MB of configuration memory, this reliable operator terminal is seamlessly programmed using WinCC Comfort V13 SP1 or newer software
