The Siemens SIMOTICS S 1FK7042-5AF71-1GG0 is a three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor from the 1FK7 Compact series. It delivers 0.82 kW rated power at 3,000 RPM and 3.0 Nm rated torque. The motor is naturally cooled and designed for IM B5 mounting, with additional IM V1 and IM V3 mounting positions. It features a basic absolute A-32 encoder with 32 pulses/revolution, providing positional feedback for precision motion-control applications. Because of the absolute encoder, Siemens specifies a 10% performance reduction. The motor has a plain shaft with tolerance N, no holding brake, and IP64 protection. Its power and signal connector can be rotated through 270, allowing flexible cable installation. The motor has a 48 mm shaft height and weighs approximately 4.9 kg. It is suitable for CNC machines, robotics, machine tools, packaging equipment, automated assembly, and industrial automation systems requiring accurate positioning and dependable servo performance.
