The Siemens 1FE1085-4WQ31-3WA1 is a SIMOTICS M 1FE1 built-in synchronous motor designed for high-speed precision spindle and machine-tool applications. It is a 4-pole permanent-magnet synchronous motor with a 600 V DC-link voltage and water cooling. The motor provides 33 kW rated output power, 105 Nm rated torque, and 85 A rated current at a rated speed of 3000 RPM. It can reach a maximum speed of 16,000 RPM, with a maximum torque of 175 Nm and maximum current of 170 A. The motor has a 340 mm motor length and a 68 mm rotor inner diameter. It uses a cast winding with full protection, including two temperature sensors and three PTCs, for reliable thermal monitoring. A Voltage Protection Module (VPM) is required when operating above the permissible inverter speed. The configuration is supplied as a single-part rotor, without a rotor sleeve, and includes 1500 mm free cable ends. The rotor net weight is approximately 7.7 kg.
