About Siemens SIMODRIVE 1FT5 AC Feed Drive Servo Motor
The Siemens 1FT5101-0AF71-1 is a SIMODRIVE 1FT5 three-phase AC feed drive servo motor designed for precise and dynamic motion control in CNC machines, machine tools, industrial automation, and positioning systems. It is a permanent-magnet synchronous motor with natural air cooling and is designed for a 600 V DC-link voltage. The motor provides a rated speed of 3000 RPM, rated torque of 15 Nm at 100 K, and rated current of 15 A. Its standstill torque is 15 Nm at 60 K and 19 Nm at 100 K. The motor can reach a maximum speed of 4200 RPM and provides a maximum torque of 60 Nm. It incorporates a tachogenerator (TG) and rotor-position encoder (RLG) for accurate speed and position feedback. The motor has an IP64 protection rating and supports IM B5, IM V1, and IM V3 mounting configurations. The short-frame construction provides a compact solution for demanding industrial applications. Siemens documentation specifies a weight of approximately 19 kg without brake and 23 kg with brake.
