Purpose-built to function as a compact slice card within the modular 1794 distributed assembly, this 8-channel frontend digitally processes continuously variable signals from process indicators, temperature transmitters, flow meters, and pressure gauges. The hardware accommodates highly flexible industrial arrays, allowing you to configure each channel individually for standard current thresholds (0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA) and voltage boundaries (0 to 10V DC, 10V DC, 0 to 5V DC, or 5V) to handle mixed-signal fields seamlessly.

Powered by a reliable 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) resolution, the card delivers a quick conversion cycle of 2.5 ms across all active channels. It runs on a nominal 24V DC field input stream while pulling a low 40 mA of backplane current down the central 5V DC Flexbus lane.
